Since 1999, Huis Marseille has been situated on Keizersgracht 401 as Amsterdam’s first photography museum. In September 2013, the museum was expanded to include the neighboring building at Keizersgracht 399, providing it with a total of fourteen exhibition spaces, including the lightwell in 399. The museum offers a rich and varied exhibition programme with changeovers about four times per year.

Huis Marseille is best reached by bicycle or public transport. Take tram 2, tram 11 or tram 12 from the Central Station and get off at the ‘Keizersgracht’ stop, or use a route planner. If you are traveling by car, you can park in Q-Park Europarking (Marnixstraat) or in parking garage Kalverstaat (Singel).

Working Hours

Tuesday–Sunday, 11–18 hr Closed on: Mondays, 27 April (King’s Day), 25 December, 1 January and (in the week prior to an opening) during the installation of new exhibitions. Open on all other holidays, including Easter Monday and Whit Monday.
